Lord GYÖRGY CHYLINSKI Debrecen, 1859 - 1936, Debrecen
Military officer, photographer, imperial and royal courier.
On father's branchcomes he has an old Polish noble family, one of his close relatives was the Polish minister, and his mother is Baron Mary Nagghten from Irish prince family. He began his military career at the Black Dragons in Vienna and then he returned to Debrecen and got married. In Debrecen, at Piac Street 1824, he maintained a painting and photographic studio between 1892-1902, then moved to Piac Street 91.
After 1904 his successor became Antal Balkányi. In his portraits, which depict the most famous citizens of the civil city, and besides the pictures about the painter Géza Mirkovszky and his works, we also know event photos from him. The famous writer, Gyula Krúdy, also mentioned him in the March Vesperstitled novel. The lord was taken out of photography, led by the English Queen Hotel in Debrecen, and for decades he was the owner of the Cinema in Debrecen.
