László Csopey Ramocsaháza, 01.10.1856. - 23.06.1934., Budapest

High school teacher, photo book translator and author, amateur photographer.

 

From 1879: He was a ruthenian-russian translator at the prime minister's translation department

1883 – 1889: He was a teacher at the real school in Buda

1889 – 1925: He was a teacher at the 5th district high school.

For three and a half years, he is a member of the nation.

1885: He was the editor of the Hungarian Youth Journal.

1896-1905: Co-editor of the Natural History Journal. Translations of scientific and literary works relate to his name. He translated Gogol, Dostoevsky, Turgenev, Tolstoy novels, short stories, and gained significant merit in presenting Russian literature in Hungary. Author of several small photographic articles, studies. He translated the Practical Photography Handbook titled basic work into German for F. Schmidt, who was a teacher at the Technical College of Karlsruhe. His pictures were based on the style of the age, primarily in the style of the picorist. His legacy was scattered.
