He began taking pictures in 1970. He worked as a photographer, then as a masseur, and then photographed only as an amateur. His photos are characterized by experimentation, the use of various techniques (tone reduction, solarization, positive montage, two negative enlargements, post-coloring…). Between 1970 and 1980 he was a member of the Budapest Photo Club, the Picture Circle of Csepel Workers' Home. In 1986 The IV. Special Award for International Environmental Photo Competition. He appeared at several Silverjavelin competition (1976, 1980). Hommage's András Baranyay1982 picture was displayed after the Young Photo 1980. Miskolc Photo Gallery at the 1982 exhibition.
