Demeter Balla Szentes, 1931 - 2017, Budapest
He was a child of a farmer family in the farmstead around Szentes. In 1950 he came to the capital city.

He worked for Trade Magazine
from 1977: Photographer of the newspaper "Soviet Union"

For him, creation is not only aesthetic, artistic, but at least as ethical. His photographic activities show a wide variety of genres: Portraits, report photos, landscapes, nudes, and in the latter time, almost exclusively still life.His writings and poems were published in the New Mirror, Life and Literature, Népszabadság, and his drawings were published by C.E.T.
1988: published his first album summarizing their photos and poems titled "Be Your Will".
1999: he founded a Demeter-prize from his private property
