In 1971 he obtained a Bachelor's degree in Technical Engineering in Hungary, and five-year later a teacher degree. In 1979 he became a Hungarian citizen. From 1968 he was a member of the Rosti Photo Club (Dunaújváros), and since 1972 he has been a member of the Kecskemét Photo Club. In 1980, he joined the MFSZ. From 1984 he took part in the work of the Nagybaracska Photographic Workshop. Initially he became known mostly from his black and white sociophotos, portraits and desert landscapes. He accompanied and photographed the hungarian guest workers in the Algerian desert. Subsequently he has featured his artistic portraits, files, colorful, beautifully lit photographs, genre pictures at more than 250 individual exhibitions. Since 1974 he has received almost 100 awards and honors. For thirty years he has been associated with the literary, sociographic, and art magazine titled FORRÁS. His pictures are in public collections: in Romania (Transylvania), Serbia, Bulgaria at the Hungarian Museum of Photography in Kecskemét, National Museum of Egypt (Ahmad Shawki Museum) and in Syria at the Latakian Cultural Center, the Qatar Photographers Association, and Oman. He has a permanent exhibition in his place of residence in Hetényegyháza, the House of Culture.
