Zvolnik, Zoltán Bözödújfalu, 1954 - 2006, Zólyom
Painter. He studied at the Artistic Lyceum in Marosvásárhely, which he finished in 1973 and then graduated from the College of Fine Arts in Kolozsvár. His masters were Nagy Pál, Bordi Géza, Piskotli Gábor, Miklóssy Gábor. He worked as a teacher in Balánybánya between 1980 and '86. He migrated to Czechoslovakia in 1986.
Initially he was influenced by the unbound symbolism of Miklóssy, then, as a result of being inspired by the environment in Balánbánya, he started following the composition style of Nagy Imre and Nagy István. He lived in Zólyom, in Felvidék, where the contemporary Czechoslovakian Avant-Garde has deeply influenced him. He participated in exhibitions in the Hargita region of Transylvania. He had several solo exhibitions in Zólyom. The collection of his works is guarded by the Lázár Castle in Gyergyószárhegy.
