Zimmerman, Albert 1808 - 1888
He studied in dresden, then he went to Munich where he established his own landscape-painting shool. He was professor at the Milan Academy from 1857 to 1860, and he also lectured at the Academy of Vienna. The main topics of his art were the Alps and Italy.
