Festő. Testvére, Schimon Ferdinánd is festő volt. Pesten és Münchenben végezte tanulmányait. Bécsben és Budapesten vett részt kiállításokon ahol portréit és népi életből vett jeleneteket ábrázoló műveit mutatta be. Egy képe a Nemzeti Galériában található.
