Remsey, Jenő György Nagykőrös, 1885 - 1980, Gödöllő
After studying in Budapest, Vienna and Munich, he became a member of the Gödöllő artist's colony, and Art Nouveau group working in the spirit of Gesamtkunstwerk. He produced decorative paintings and carpet designs. A member of the group KÉVE, he was also among the founding members of the Spiritual Artists' Society, a group estabilished in 1924. In his painting he was interested in capturing, enhancing and spiritually interpreting light.
As he lived in Gödöllő right until the end of his long life, he all along sustained the spiritual traditions of Gödöllő, presterving several of its mementoes.
