He studied painting in Budapest. In 1917 he published a graphic portfolio entitled Figures of ten colour print lithographs folios. He showed his works along with other artists in the exhibition hall of MA. At the beginning of the twenties he settled down in France, but worked in New York as well. In 1926 he opened a scenic school in Paris. He was engaged with set design - often for Hungarian theatres as well -, interior design and poster graphics.
