Festő, restaurátor. A budai gróf Brunswick-féle képtár restaurátora, 1810-1822 között igazgatója
volt. Főleg mitológiai tárgyú képeket festett, de miniatűr arcképeket is készített. József
nádorról és Cseh-Szombathy Józsefről készített arcképét ismerjük.
