Heintz, Henrik 1896 - 1955
Completed the Hungarian Academy of Fine Arts under the tutelge of István Réti and then studied in Munich in 1924. Worked at the artist colony of Miskolc first, then in the Szentendre colony from 1926, taking a study tour of Italy in 1927. Though he did not win the grant of the Collegium Hungarium of Rome he participated on a number of the exhibitions of works by the artists of the Rome School. He took part in founding the Szentendre Society of Painters in 1928. He made church paintings in the thirties, and completed portrait commissions. He travelled in Székler lands in 1942.
