Gyenes, Gitta Budapest, 1888 - 1960, Budapest
She studied under Bertalan Karlovszky in Budapest and then continued her studies in Nagybánya, Vienna and Rome. She participated at the exhibitions of the Könyves Kálmán Salon, the Artists House and the National Salon. In the 1920s she got acquainted with the great poet Attila József (he courted her daughter) and painted his portrait. In 1928 she became a member of the KUT. She was interested in painting China pieces as well.
