Gábor, Jenő Pécs, 1893 - 1968, Pécs
He studied under Tivadar Zemplényi from 1911 to 1915 at the Hungarian Academy of Fine Arts. After graduating he worked as an art teacher in Pécs, and in the 1940s in Szeged. In the 1920s he maintained connections with Alfréd Forbát, Marcell Breuer and Farkas Molnár, the artists working in the Bauhaus of Pécs. He went on study tours, to Paris in 1926 and 1937 and to Berlin in 1931. In 1947 he moved to Budapest and in 1966 returned to his native town.
