Félegyházi, László Szatmárnémeti, 1907 - 1986, Debrecen
He spent his childhood in Szeged, then studied painting with Sándor Nyilasy at grammar school. He attended the Academy of Fine Arts from 1924, where he trained with Oszkár Glatz. Having .nished his studies he worked as an art teacher in the Reformed College in Debrecen. He was a member of UME, and regularly exhibited in Műcsarnok (Palace of Art), Tamás Gallery and the Ernst Museum. He went on a study tour to Paris in 1934. Between 1937 and 1942 he painted in Felsôbánya in the summers. In the years after the war he dealt with restoring and copying paintings.
