Painter, enamelist. He graduated from the College of Fine Arts of Budapest in 1965. His mentors were Hincz Gyula, Szentiványi Lajos and Barcsay Jenő. He had the Derkovits scholarship between 1966 and 1969. In 1976 he received the Munkácsy prize. He received a prize at the biennale of Limoge in 1978. Member of the DunapART group. He has been appearing at group exhibitions since 1965. He exhibited in the Kunsthalle Budapest in 1965, in Paris in 1967, in Vienna at 1968 and in Rome in 1988. He had a solo exhibition in the Kunsthalle Budapest in 1970, and at Pécs in 1982. Some of his large-scale wall pictures are shown in public buildings in Kaposvár, Debrecen, Paks, Kecskemét and elsewhere. His works can be found in the collection of the Hungarian National Gallery, and in the collection of the Contemporary Gallery of Pécs.
