Erős, Andor Budapest, 1889 - 1915
A pupil of Károly Ferency's at the Hungarian Academy of Fine Arts for four years beginning in 1908, he also painted in Nagybánya in the summer of 1912. He made friends with Nemes-Lampérth, Diener-Dénes, Péter Dobrovits, Kmetty and Béla Uitz at the Academy. He visited Munich and Paris during his student years and he worked at the artist colony of Kecskemét in 1913. He suffered fatal wounds in the First World War. His memorial exhibition was mounted by the National Salon in 1917.
