Crouy-Channel, László Ipolyszécsénke, 1885 - 1945, Budapest
He began his studies at Alfred Feiks` private art school, then attended the Independent School of Fine Arts in Budapest. From 1922 to 1926 he studied under Oszkár Glatz and István Réti at the Hungarian Academy of Fine Arts. From 1927 he lived in Paris for more than 10 years and joined Ferenc Martyn's circle. The abstract, non-figurative works of the years spent abroad were followed by more decorative, figural paintings after his return.
