Count Zichy, István Bábolna, 1879 - 1951, Aba
He pursued an education at the Hungarian Academy of Fine Arts from 1897, and at the private school of Simon Hollósy in Munich from 1898. He moved to Paris in 1900, and worked in Nagybánya in 1901. From 1907 he worked in Gödöllő. He expended his art in mimeographed graphic works, he prepared designs for tapestry that were executed by the workshop in Gödöllő. His frescos can be seen in the Music Academy. He lead the Historical Gallery between 1913 and 1919, and took a study trip to Vienna and Germany in 1917. He was the chief director of the Hungarian Historical Museum for ten years beginning in 1934, a period when his articles on folk life appeared regularly in print.
