Boromisza, Tibor Bácsalmás, 1880 - 1960, Szentendre
He first trained at the private school of Károly Ferenczy in Budapest in 1902 and then in the Nagybánya artist colony from 1904. He spent some time in Rome in 1905 and then continued his studies with Colorassi at the Julian Academy of Paris. Returning to Nagybánya he becomes one of the organisers of the neo movement, becoming the formulator of their principles, and urging reforms in the independent school. This led him into conflict with a number of people and he left the artist colony in 1914. He worked in Szatmárnémeti, Budapest, Hortobágy, Keszthely and Szentendre. A memorial house has opened in his home in Szentendre.
