Borbereki-Kovács, Zoltán Rónaszék, 1907 - 1992, Johannesburg
After attending Artúr Podolini-Volkmann's free school he trained at the Academy of Fine Arts in Budapest from 1928 to 1933. He was a pupil of János Vaszary and István Csók and studied fresco painting during his scholarship in Rome. He was a member of UME, and also worked regularly at the artists colony of Szolnok. After a while he worked exclusively as a sculptor. In 1948 he settled down in Italy, later on moving to and living in Johannnesburg.
