Bálint, Rezső 1885 - 1945, Budapest
Brother of the art-writer Jenő Bálint. He studied at Nagybänya, and at the private school of Ferenc Szablya-Frischauf. He taught himself in Paris in 1909, and shared a studio with Modigliani, they exhibited together with Archipenko. He belonged to the KÉVE group, working on the artist colony of Kecskemét in 1911 and 1912. He lived in Izbég from 1920 onwards.
