Alexy, Károly Ede Poprád, 1823 - 1880, Budapest

Grafikus, szobrász. Művészeti tanulmányait a bécsi akadémián végezte. 1852-től Londonban
működött. Hazatérve, 1861-től a Pesti Belvárosi Reáliskola, majd 1870-1878 között
a fővárosi Rajztanoda tanára volt. Elsősorban szobrászattal foglalkozott, de rajzaival is ismertté
vált. Több művét őrzi a Magyar Nemzeti Galéria.
